Policies and Procedures

Know the policies and procedures of the Notation School. Be it enrolments, examinations, payments, or otherwise, we have left no questions unanswered.

Scheduling

By purchasing a Pricing Plan, you are booking recurring appointments with our instructors on fixed days and fixed time.
We offer time slots on a first come first served basis. Therefore, if you plan to join us at the discussed time, you have to proceed with the admission process before someone else books the time slot.
The institution remains closed on national holidays.
We offer time slots according to the availability of teachers.
All the classes missed due to the absence of teachers will be compensated.
All classes are mandatory. We do not encourage shifting or rescheduling of the classes as we have to be on a strict timeline for the examinations.
You need to inform the institution in case you foresee missing your appointment with the teacher.
Time-change request needs to be made right at the beginning of the month so the coordinator can assign you a different time slot.

Fees and Payments

The admission fee is charged every time the student moves to the next Grade along with examination fee and book cost.
The validity of monthly cycle is 30 days except for February when the cycle is for 28 Days.
The fee for the next month has to be deposited before the last class in order to secure the teacher and time slot
All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Students taking a break may secure their allotted class time-slot and the teacher by paying tuition fee for the period of their break.
Extra Classes Will be scheduled at extra cost according to the Level of the student

Examination Procedures

The exam fees are collected by the Academy and forwarded directly to the representatives of the international examination board.
Use of photocopy in the practical exam may result in cancellation of the exam. All students are advised to procure their original copy of the book well in advance. The cost of the book is not a part of the tutelage fee.
The deadline of the examination can only be extended by paying 50% of the examination fee which is submitted to the board for filing the extension requests.
Under medical circumstances, the examination deadline can be extended for up to 14 days after submitting the medical certificate. This must be done before the actual exam deadline.
The practical and theory exams are conducted under strict guidelines shared by the international examination boards. The academy has absolutely no part to play in the examining, marking, and certifying process. All practical exams are conducted by visiting-examiners from London.

Administration

All changes and queries related to extra lessons, timetables, payments, holidays, etc. have to be communicated to the school admin only. Teachers will not be able to help students with these issues.
Students are not allowed to take the personal contact numbers of the teachers. If a student requires a teacher’s consultation, they shall call the school office mobile and they will be connected with the teacher as per the teacher’s availability.
Students can also drop their queries in the form of voice notes, screenshots, photographs, and text messages on the school’s Whatsapp Number.
The school reserves the right to change a teacher assigned to a student at any point in time for the better progress of the learner.
